Iceland / Arnarstapi

Iceland, Photo Set, Travel Photography

Along the southern edge of the Snæfellsnes peninsula lies the small village of Arnarstapi. Once a fishing and trading port with legends of half-human ogres, the village is now a tourist stop along the peninsula.

A prominent white house sits with rugged cliffs on one side and a towering conic mountain behind creating a scene worthy of its Instagram created fame.

In 2017 I visited with a few friends as we explored the Snæfellsnes peninsula and enjoyed a crisp sunrise at Arnarstapi........

A solitary white house stands against a dramatic snowy mountain backdrop along a rocky coastline in Iceland.
