Sheffield / home

The story of how I came to live in Sheffield seems to be a common one. I first moved here in 2003, to the University of Sheffield to study Geography. Like many others, I loved the city and its surroundings and have stayed ever since.

The city of Sheffield blends into the surrounding countryside and the Peak District National Park. There is space to breathe here with plenty of parks and woodland accessible from all areas of the city. I’d say the proximity to these natural environments first inspired me to photograph more of my surroundings and helped me learn as a photographer.
